Authorities rescued an underage girl who had had been used as a sexual slave at an entertainment outlet near Taman Maluri, Cheras during an Ops Noda operation early Thursday morning.

The 17-year-old victim, was found together with 12 others, all of whom were from Vietnam, and is believed to have been working as a Guest Relations Officer (GRO).

The raiding party was led by ASP Muhammad Jais and other personnel from the Bukit Aman Anti-Vice, Gambling and Secret Society Division (D7) at 1am.

The entertainment outlet had also been found to allow the use of drugs in its premises with the discovery of Eramin 5 pills and several packets containing Ecstasy pills.

Initial investigations revealed all them had abused their social visit passes.

The GROs reportedly earn tips as much as RM100 while sexual services can fetch up to RM500 per night.

Police believe they were part of a prostitution syndicate.

All of them have been detained and taken to the Cheras police headquarters and investigated under the Anti-Trafficking in Persons and Anti-Smuggling of Migrants Act.
